Location: Home Based with travel throughout the UK  
Package: Attractive Basic annual salary (dependant on experience) with Company Car, Bonus/Attractive OTE & Company Benefits

The Company
Macfarlane Labels Limited is a leading manufacturer of self-adhesive and resealable labels. We operate from two label manufacturing sites; the first in Kilmarnock Scotland and second near Dublin in Ireland. We have a Design & Innovation office in Sweden, with manufacturing of machinery under contract in Europe. There are established Reseal-it® sales in the UK, Europe and North America. Macfarlane Labels have a proven resealable label solution which incorporates application machinery, a pre-applied label option and a fully integrated Reseal-it® solution. 

The Opportunity
Our objective is to significantly grow our Reseal-it sector within 3 years. A key part of this objective is UK Reseal-it sales growth and hence, the recruitment of a new UK Reseal-it® Sales Manager.  The role will responsible for selling the Reseal-it® concept involving both our labels manufactured in-house in the UK and application machinery.  The successful applicant will therefore be expected to adopt a full-sales-cycle role, supporting existing UK partners whilst developing new business opportunities as well as retaining and growing our established UK Reseal-it customer base.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting through to the Reseal-it® UK management team, the role will require frequent and extensive travel throughout the UK to meet with customers, partners and prospects. In addition to developing market opportunities the role will require an understanding and involve detailed discussion of customer technical needs. Our ‘total solutions’ offer of both the Reseal-it label and the labelling machinery requires this in order to make the appropriate recommendations for our customers and partners.  
The role will require close working with all internal stakeholders and management to encourage cooperation to help enhance both sales development and the brand image of Reseal-it®. Ultimately, all of the above will be undertaken with a firm view of commercial expectations and in an effort to meet the stretching sales/growth targets.

Do you have the correct profile?
You will have a demonstrable track-record of performance gained working within a similar UK-wide coverage sales role (ideally aligned to labelling/packaging). An understanding of print, films/ laminates, machinery and solutions would be highly advantageous. Naturally, you will have strong commercial acumen, customer orientated, communication and negotiation skills combined with an entrepreneurial drive.  In addition, perseverance, drive, self-motivation and confidence commensurate with such a demanding role will be required.
