The Trainee Coordinator Role
Working as a member of our local Fareham office team, your role as Trainee Coordinator, will support both the sales team and the procurement team. On the procurement side you will gain varied exposure to wider procurement tasks and scenarios whilst primarily focusing on ensuring that correct stock levels are ordered and held for customers. On the sales side you will provide direct support to (and working closely with) the sales team, undertaking sales administration (sales order processing etc.) It is our intention that once a certain level of aptitude has been achieved, and following completion of probation, the successful candidate will also be encouraged to embark on an accredited training program. On this occasion we are seeking to hire someone on a full-time basis, working Monday to Friday.
Trainee Coordinator Key Duties
Do you have the correct profile?
Whilst this is very much a development role (so full training will be provided), it would be useful if you have had some previous experience of working within a fast-paced office environment and gained some administration/customer service skills. We can teach you the rest! It would obviously be helpful if you have a genuine interest in pursuing a career path within purchasing/sales. As a minimum requirement, we do also seek strong computer literacy (MS Office to include Excel spreadsheets) & strong attention to detail.
