The National Account Manager Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the National Accounts team at Macfarlane Packaging. You will be responsible for spearheading continued sales growth within the industrial marketplace, focussing on a number of verticals including Engineering, Aerospace, Automotive, Medical & Distribution. You can expect to be handed a small number of existing accounts to nurture & develop, but the really key focus will be around new business and the acquisition of new national account customers. This market holds endless scope to build upon our impressive existing client portfolio and you will naturally be well rewarded for your talent and dedication in continuing to grow and develop our industrial customer base.
Do you have the correct profile?
Given the distinct balance of key account management and ‘new business’ expertise required for this key appointment, we are ideally seeking applicants who can demonstrate prior success in holding a similar ‘dual approach’ remit at national account level, crucially with a demonstrable track-record of winning and on-boarding new national account customers. A background in packaging sales (or similarly aligned print design solutions) would be preferable albeit we may also consider applicants from a logistics/3PL sales background too. Familiarly with a more technical solution based selling approach is also important to be successful within our role. Due to the core focus of this role geographically, we would favour candidates who reside within the wider Midlands region.
