The LGV Driver Class 2 Role
Becoming an integral part of our local logistics team, you will represent the company in making regular deliveries to our regional customers, whilst ensuring the safe and professional operation of our company vehicles. Our established logistics team have a like-minded approach whereby team members are extremely self-motivated, enthusiastic and customer focused. We value a strong work ethic/flexibility and you may on occasion be required to help out in the warehouse (as and when the business requires). Drivers within our business work 45 hours each week, from Monday to Friday (we don’t work evenings or weekends).
LGV Class 2 Key Duties
Do you have the correct profile?
We welcome your application if you are an experienced commercial driver with a valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence. Ideally your licence will be clean (certainly no more than 6 points), you will hold a digi-card and be able to evidence at least one year’s experience of commercial LGV driving. Ideally, you will also have a forklift reach & counterbalance licence (training can be provided if not). As mentioned, in line with our team’s approach, you will also have a strong work-ethic with a flexible ‘can do’ attitude. Finally, as you will be acting as an ambassador for our business when making customer deliveries, it is vital that you have effective customer-facing skills.
