Package: Basic Salary £23,000 plus bonus/commission

The Internal Sales Executive Role
Working as an integral part of the local team, your responsibilities and core duties shall include managing and developing a portfolio of existing local accounts, focusing on organic growth through line extensions and developing new business. You will proactively generate outbound activity to help develop customer spend and identify new opportunities. To assist with the above there will occasionally be the opportunity to attend customer site visits. This position offers hybrid working and targeted customer engagement.
 
Internal Sales Executive Key Duties 

  • Managing and developing a portfolio of existing accounts, effectively maintaining profitability
  • Making outbound calls to identify & engage with prospective new customers
  • Leading on account development activity to achieve up-sell/cross-sell opportunities
  • Working closely with and supporting the sales team
  • Regular use of our MS Dynamics CRM system
  • Closely liaising with internal departments such as logistics and procurement

  • Able to demonstrate some exposure to Sales / Account Management, within a B2B environment
  • Be familiar and comfortable with (and motivated by) working to set sales activity & commercial targets, a self-starter who enjoys the challenge that sales presents
  • A proven ability to use your charisma, communication skills and interpersonal skills to actively win business, generate/attract new customers, and increase revenues
  • A proficient level of proficiency in Mathematics, English (written & verbal) combined with being computer literate.
  • An ability to multi-task and prioritize own workload and thrive working within a small office team environment
  • A strong level of administrative skills
