Do you have the correct profile?
We would prefer you to have at least 1-2 years’ experience of working within a similar buying role. This should ensure that you have enjoyed exposure to most of the duties outlined above. Previous experience of working closely with a national/key/corporate accounts team would also be beneficial (not essential). You must have strong stakeholder engagement experience combined with effective communication, negotiation, and administration skills. It is equally important that you have strong commercial acumen alongside an analytical approach. A relevant degree and/or professional qualification (CIPS) would also be favourable, as would a UK driving licence as there will be the need for occasional travel within this role.
The Package
We provide a competitive basic starting salary along with a performance/profit linked bonus scheme and a flexible employee benefits scheme that includes: 25 days annual leave (rising to 27 days with service plus all bank holidays), additional holiday purchasing scheme, contributory pension & employee discount scheme.
