Packaging Design and Manufacture Products

We are not dependent upon any single packaging material or process. This gives our designers the freedom to calculate the optimum amount of the most appropriate material for each application, after carefully studying every aspect of the supply chain, from our customer’s packing department to the point of use.

All principal components are manufactured in-house, predominately using the following materials:

  • Conventional Corrugated – Single or double wall bespoke cartons or die cut fittings, plain or printed
  • Heavy Duty Corrugated – Containers and fittings manufactured in export grade material
  • Polyethylene/Polyurethane Foam – High performance cushioning materials where acurate performance graphs are used to calculate the optimum amount of material needed for drop test performance
  • Timber packs and Pallets – Softwood, hardwood and plywood, kiln dried and heat treated
  • Glass Reinforced Plastic Containers – For heavy duty or returnable applications
  • Tri-mite Containers – Specialist, re-usable, heavy-duty containers

Depending on customer requirements, packaging products can be laboratory tested to commercial levels ISTA, ETSI, ATA 300, UN, BS1133 or defence standard. Both manufacturing sites are qualified to manufacture to the following standards:

  • DR14 Military Capability
  • ISPM 15 Accreditation (for the supply of heat treated timber)
  • Resy and Repack Registration
  • CREW (Lean Manufacturing Philosophy)
